Catherine joined the Village Church as administrator in summer of 2026. She enjoys working “behind the scenes” to help keep things running smoothly.

As a Huntsville native, Catherine grew up going to Southside Baptist Church and gave her life to Jesus there at a young age. At 21, she moved to South Korea to teach English as a second language for a year — a huge leap of faith for a homebody who'd spent most of her life in Alabama. When she came back to the US, she worked in childcare while writing and illustrating stories in her spare time. Since 2017, she has been serving as a preschool teacher at Lincoln Village Ministry. 

She is a "plant mom" to a growing collection of houseplants, and enjoys writing & illustrating stories when she can find the time.
